About the Role: Emerald Coast Bread Company is looking for a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team in Pensacola, FL! Responsibilities: - Mix, proof, shape, and bake a variety of artisan breads and baked goods from scratch
- Follow and maintain established recipes while ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and production schedules
- Prepare and manage dough fermentation, proofing, and scoring techniques
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary baking environment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with inventory management and communicate supply needs to management
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
Requirements: - Previous experience in a professional bakery or baking role preferred
- Knowledge of artisan bread techniques, fermentation, and dough handling
- Ability to work early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product consistency
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one
- Dependable, team-oriented, and passionate about the craft of baking
