Baker

• Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked items according to recipes and production standards.

• Decorate and finish baked goods with precision and creativity.

• Ensure consistent quality, taste, appearance, and freshness of all baked products.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality; report any issues to supervisor.

• Operate ovens, mixers, dough sheeters, and other baking equipment safely and efficiently.

• Follow all recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.

• Collaborate with culinary team members to meet deadlines and service standards.

• Assist with inventory control by properly storing ingredients and minimizing waste.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of hands-on pastry shop experience in a fast-paced hotel environment.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Outstanding teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move materials of various weights and sizes.
• Must pass a written and practical exam.
