A night in the role

You’ll partner with a Machine Operator to set up and run equipment that measures, prints, cuts, folds, glues, or heat-seals material from parent rolls into finished bags. You’ll thread substrates through guides and rollers, verify print and seal quality, and keep the line on pace to meet production goals while minimizing waste.

What you’ll do

• Thread material from the parent roll through guides/rollers to cutters, gluer, printer, folding device, or electric sealer.
• Start up equipment, watch performance, and make adjustments to maintain consistent shearing, printing, folding, gluing, or sealing quality.
• Load parent rolls by inserting the shaft into the core, securing collars with hand tools, and mounting the roll using a hoist.
• Support efficient operation to hit speed targets and quality standards with minimal scrap.
• Review work orders for paper requirements and requisition materials from the warehouse as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues quickly to sustain smooth production flow.
• Complete daily care on the machine: oiling, cleaning the drum area, re-taping, and scraping down.
• Communicate clearly at shift handoff to maintain continuity across teams.
• Uphold GMP and SQF requirements and good housekeeping practices at all times.
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Schedule and premium details

• 12-hour nights, rotating schedule
• 7:00pm – 7:00am
• Shift premiums offering $1/hour, $1.50/hour
