Job TitleBackend EngineerJob DescriptionDevelop and maintain scalable backend systems to support financial services applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with front-end systems. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. Optimize server-side performance to ensure high availability and reliability. Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards. Debug and resolve technical issues to maintain system integrity and performance. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes. Proven ability to build scalable, resilient enterprise applications, leveraging event-driven architectures and Kafka. Experience developing and integrating backend services using API integrations, caching strategies, data access layers, and well-defined service boundaries. Solid software engineering fundamentals, including JUnit, Maven, GitLab, CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, monitoring, and observability. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerized environments, deployment automation, and production support within large-scale enterprise environments. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across product, architecture, UI, DevOps, and distributed engineering teams.What's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $175,000 per year.
