Backend Engineer

100% remote optional.  Or work in NYC offices.  $140k - $200k + equity

Backend Developer with experience in Node.js, Django and Rails to join fast expanding NY FinTech. This company is accelerating its growth after receiving significant funding from a number of VC firms.

They require a backend developer with a minimum 3yrs commercial experience.  Someone who has the tenacity and desire to produce top apps!

Job Functions include:

• Technical collaboration with internal team
  
• Build out web frameworks using Ruby on Rails, Django, ASP/ ASP.Net
  
• SQL Server / AWS and other cloud architecture
  
• Implementation of frontend & backend systems
  
• Quality assurance and code reviews of existing codebases
  
• Participation in release management including testing, security and reliability
  

Requirements

Min 3 years experience in full-stack application development (Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails…)

Any experience in financial application build a bonus.  E.g banking, fintech, payment. But not essential.
