Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend/API Developer with a strong focus on Microservices architecture using SpringBoot. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and efficient microservices. You will be responsible for building robust APIs and ensuring seamless integration with front end components, while adhering to best practices in software development.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain microservices using SpringBoot framework.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Implement RESTful APIs and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and reliability issues.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall system design.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the development process.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Microservices architecture and SpringBoot framework.
Proficient in RESTful API design and development.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Knowledge of message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
Familiarity with front end technologies (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7 10 years of experience in backend development with a focus on microservices.
Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable applications.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and best practices.
