Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs.
- Collaborate with front - end developers to integrate user - facing elements with server -side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Manage and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance backend development practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- There will be primarily backend development and API integrations with other SaaS services.
- Proven experience in backend development with languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of backend systems.
