Pay Range: $55 - $60/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
 

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Back End Engineer. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable REST APIs using Python and AWS Lambda in a serverless environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API integration with Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB and be proficient in managing database schema changes using Liquibase.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in API development using Python and AWS Lambda.
• Experience with databases such as Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB.
• Knowledge of Liquibase for database schema changes.
• Experience with cloud-native application development, testing, and deployment.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with PySpark.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Python and AWS Lambda.
• Integrate APIs with Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
• Create and manage database schema changes using Liquibase.
• Implement automated testing, monitoring, and logging for APIs and database operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
