Ba/Bs Counselor (1717)

Job Purpose:

• The BA/BS Counselor at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing high-quality counseling services to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to support their mental health and well-being. The counselor will work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans and provide ongoing support to help them achieve their therapeutic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to coordinate care and provide holistic support to clients.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in the field of behavioral health.
• Engage in regular supervision and consultation to enhance clinical skills and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
• Support clients in crisis situations, providing appropriate interventions and referrals as needed.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources to promote understanding and engagement in the treatment process.
