Montessori Beginnings School is looking for a caring, dependable Assistant Afternoon Teacher to join our warm and supportive team. If you love working with young children and want to make a meaningful difference every day, we'd love to meet you.
In this role, you'll:
- Support children in a peaceful, engaging Montessori environment.
- Help create a safe, welcoming, and joyful classroom.
- Build caring relationships with children, families, and fellow teachers.
- Assist with classroom routines, outdoor play, and end-of-day activities.
- Help protect the magic of childhood through kindness, patience, and encouragement.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with young children (preferred).
- Has a degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred, but not required).
- Has EEC (Office of Early Education & Care) certification
- CPR/1st Aid Certification (preferred)
- Is dependable, positive, and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Believes every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and capable.
