Working closely with executive leadership and the marketing team, you'll play a key role in growing revenue, developing strategic partnerships, and building a strong sales pipeline. This is a hands-on role focused on developing new customer relationships, expanding existing accounts, and identifying new market opportunities across multiple industrial sectors.

Salary: 120k-150k + Commission 
Travel: Approximately 20–40%

About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth within technical B2B manufacturing markets. This is a hands-on role focused on developing new customer relationships, expanding existing accounts, and identifying new market opportunities across multiple industrial sectors.
Working closely with executive leadership and the marketing team, you'll play a key role in growing revenue, developing strategic partnerships, and building a strong sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
• Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of target accounts.
• Grow existing customer relationships while identifying cross-selling opportunities.
• Develop distributor, reseller, and strategic partner relationships.
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations, trade shows, and discovery sessions.
• Partner with Marketing on lead generation campaigns and customer outreach.
• Maintain CRM activity, sales forecasting, and pipeline reporting.
• Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of B2B sales or business development experience.
• Proven success developing new business and growing strategic accounts.
• Experience selling technical products, engineered solutions, industrial services, or manufacturing solutions.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline.
• Ability to understand technical products and manufacturing processes.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20–40%.
