About the Team:
As part of the Risk and Enterprise organization, the Marketing team is responsible for driving business growth in partnership with the product and sales teams of our core businesses and products: Risk & Compliance, Global Risk Insights, Storyful, Factiva and Dow Jones Newswires. The team runs a client centric strategy, working in lockstep with key stakeholders to drive awareness, build our reputation and deepen relationships with clients.
About the Role:
In this role, you'll be responsible for the planning and execution of the B2B AMER third-party events calendar, taking full responsibility for each stage of the process. You'll work closely with the sales and proposition teams to create and deliver an event strategy that supports and complements wider marketing ambitions.
You will work on a hybrid schedule, on-site in our midtown Manhattan office 3 days each week, reporting to the VP of B2B Product Marketing.
You Will:
Collaborate with our team and stakeholders to develop an AMER event strategy for our Risk business.
Manage, from start to finish, the ideation, planning, and execution of assigned events, including contract negotiation, storage and shipment of booths, promotional items, printed materials and overall on-site experience.
Coordinate event related content, working with the broader marketing team and speakers to align session content with key themes and products.
Analyze event performance to inform data-driven decisions and creation of future events plans.
Assist in the maintenance of the AMER events budget, and related processes involving procurement and finance
Creation of post-event reports to actively track and optimize the performance of each event.
Partner with the Sales team pre-, during-, and post-event to maximize on-site engagement, and drive post-event pipeline and opportunities.
You Have:
7 years of events experience, ideally within the B2B space
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred; MBA a plus, or equivalent experience
Ability to work effectively in a matrixed company model
Strong collaboration and influencing skills
Experience managing heavy and conflicting event schedules
Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to multitask, prioritize, manage stakeholders at all levels across the business and adhere to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
