Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for an Azure Network Architect (Azure VMware Solution - AVS) for their Remote location.
Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end network assessment, planning, and execution of large-scale migrations to Azure and AVS.
Design and implement robust hybrid connectivity architectures using Azure ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways, and Virtual WAN.
Configure and manage complex routing protocols, including BGP, to ensure seamless traffic flow between on-premises and cloud environments.
Architect network topologies within AVS, establishing seamless Layer 2 extensions (HCX Networks) and Layer 3 routing.
Deploy and manage Azure native network services, including Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Azure Firewall.
Integrate third-party Virtual Network Appliances (NVAs) and load balancers to maintain high availability and security posture.
Optimize network performance and minimize downtime during critical workload cutover windows.
Troubleshoot complex, multi-tenant network issues across on-premises data centers, Azure cloud, and AVS infrastructure.
Automate network provisioning and infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure, security, and cloud architecture teams to align on migration deliverables.
Author comprehensive technical blueprints, low-level designs (LLDs), and operational standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements:
Architect network topologies within AVS
Deploy and manage Azure native network services
Azure ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways, and Virtual WAN
Deep technical expertise in traditional enterprise data center networking (routing, switching and load balancing).
Proven track record of executing successful large-scale enterprise network migrations to public cloud environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure networking components (Hub-Spoke topologies, UDRs, and Peering).
Specialized knowledge in Azure VMware Solution (AVS) design, deployment, and management.
Proficiency with VMware NSX-T network virtualization, overlay networks, and VMware HCX migration tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Relevant certifications preferred, such as Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) or VMware Certified Professional (VCP-NV).
