Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Azure DevOps / Platform Engineer to build and operate the cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and platform capabilities supporting enterprise Data, AI/ML, and Forward Deployed Engineering workloads.
The ideal candidate will have deep Azure experience with strong expertise in Kubernetes/AKS, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containerization, observability, security, and production operations.
This role will work closely with Data Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, Forward Deployed Engineers, and Architects to rapidly take solutions from development into secure, scalable production environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, automate, and operate Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related technologies.
  • Deploy and operate containerized workloads using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
  • Build reusable platform capabilities and deployment frameworks for engineering teams.
  • Support deployment of Data Engineering, Databricks, AI/ML, APIs, and application workloads.
  • Automate environment provisioning across development, test, staging, and production environments.
  • Implement secrets and certificate management using Azure Key Vault.
  • Implement Azure identity, RBAC, networking, security, and access-control patterns.
  • Establish logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability.
  • Build deployment patterns for APIs, microservices, data applications, and AI workloads.
  • Implement automated security and quality controls within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, deployment, and application issues.
  • Improve platform availability, scalability, resiliency, security, and performance.
  • Optimize Azure infrastructure and cloud costs.
  • Partner directly with engineering teams to remove deployment and infrastructure bottlenecks.
  • Support rapid prototyping while ensuring successful solutions can transition into enterprise production environments.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or related experience.
  • Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
  • Azure DevOps.
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Kubernetes.
  • Docker/containerization.
  • Terraform and/or Bicep.
  • CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Infrastructure as Code.
  • Azure Key Vault.
