Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in DevOps tools, CI/CD automation, and scripting, along with solid expertise in middleware platforms such as WebLogic and JBoss. The ideal candidate will drive automation initiatives, streamline deployment processes, and support enterprise-grade middleware environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and YAML-based workflows.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and reusable workflows to improve deployment efficiency.
- Build and maintain scripts (Shell, Bash, Python, YAML, PowerShell) for automation and operational tasks.
- Manage and support middleware platforms including:
- WebLogic 12c / 14c
- JBoss 7.4 / 8.1
- Automate application deployments, patching, and environment provisioning across middleware environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth integration and release processes.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and DevOps best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience with DevOps tools and automation:
- GitHub Actions
- YAML scripting and workflow design
- Strong scripting expertise (mandatory):
- Shell / Bash / YAML
- Python or PowerShell
- Hands-on experience with middleware technologies:
- WebLogic 12c / 14c
- JBoss 7.4 / 8.1
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, release management, and automation practices
- Experience troubleshooting pipeline failures and deployment issues
Preferred skills:
- Exposure to Azure Cloud (AKS, App Services, or Azure DevOps)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, ARM templates)
