We are hiring for an Azure DevOps Build Engineer (.NET & UI Stack) opportunity.

Role Overview

We are seeking an Azure DevOps Build Engineer with strong experience supporting Microsoft-centric application stacks and modern UI technologies. The ideal candidate will have expert-level Azure DevOps experience, strong CI/CD pipeline development skills, Infrastructure as Code expertise, Azure cloud knowledge, and hands-on experience with .NET, Angular, and Blazor application build and deployment processes.

Required Skills

• Expert-level experience with Azure DevOps Services including Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, and Test Plans.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Azure Bicep.
• Operational knowledge of Azure Cloud Services including Azure App Services, Azure Container Instances, Azure Static Web Apps, and Azure SQL.
• Strong understanding of build engines and packaging tools including dotnet CLI, MSBuild, NuGet, npm, and Webpack.
• Strong proficiency with PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI for automation and web application configuration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.

Preferred Skills

• 3 to 5+ years of dedicated experience in Build/Release Engineering or DevOps roles supporting Microsoft-centric and modern UI application stacks.
• Experience containerizing .NET and SPA solutions using Docker and deploying to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Strong root-cause analysis and troubleshooting skills for .NET builds, Angular compilation, Blazor runtime asset delivery, and environmental discrepancies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across Software Architecture, Development, QA, and Operations teams.
• Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert certification (AZ-400).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust Azure Pipelines using YAML for .NET Core/.NET 8+, Angular SPA applications using npm, and Blazor WebAssembly/Server components.
• Automate and manage cloud infrastructure hosting application stacks using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Manage Azure Repos/Git repositories and centralize package management through Azure Artifacts for internal NuGet and npm packages.
• Integrate compilation error tracking, static code analysis such as SonarQube, vulnerability scanning, and automated testing into CI/CD pipeline gates.
• Manage and secure application configurations, environment files, application secrets, and connection strings using Azure Key Vault.
• Provide real-time technical triage during critical deployment windows, code freezes, and Go-Live phases.
• Troubleshoot IIS, Azure Web App, and hosting environment runtime issues.
• Define, implement, and enforce structured branching and merging strategies such as GitFlow and release branching.
• Support parallel development streams through effective source control and release management practices.

Education Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
