Job Overview:
Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Advanced expertise in SQL Server / Azure SQL.
- Strong T SQL development skills including stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience with Azure hosted databases and cloud-based architectures.
- Hands on experience with PowerShell for database deployment and automation.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps pipelines and GitHub for version control.
- Solid understanding of database design principles and data modeling.
- Experience supporting applications built on .NET / C# for backend integration.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Azure SQL / SQL Server databases to support enterprise grade applications.
- Develop and optimize T SQL, stored procedures, functions, views, and indexes.
- Ensure database performance, scalability, availability, and data integrity.
- Partner closely with application developers to support backend and full stack features.
- Implement and manage database deployments using PowerShell and automated release pipelines.
- Support CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Perform schema versioning, migration, partitioning, and release coordination across environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
- Enforce database security, access controls, and best practices.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, Client, or Terraform.
- Experience with database monitoring, performance diagnostics, and tuning in Azure.
- Familiarity with security, auditing, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
