Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Azure Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with
Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Databricks, along with proven experience in data architecture and cloud-based data platforms.
Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable Azure data architecture aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Architect enterprise data solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
- Develop modern data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory.
- Design data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouse architectures, and analytical solutions using Azure services.
- Implement data ingestion, transformation, integration, and orchestration across multiple data sources.
- Develop and optimize Azure Synapse SQL and distributed data processing solutions.
- Work with Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake for large-scale data processing.
- Define data models, schemas, partitioning strategies, and performance optimization techniques.
- Establish data security, governance, access controls, and compliance standards across Azure data platforms.
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, business stakeholders, and cloud architects.
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues across Azure data services.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout implementation.
Required Skills- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure data services.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Experience with PySpark/Spark and large-scale data processing.
- Experience designing Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures.
- Knowledge of Azure security, networking, identity, and governance.
- Experience with cloud migration and modernization of enterprise data platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
