Position: Azure Architect
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months
Rate: DOE
  • Strong Architecture and hands on knowledge of Azure Infrastructure including Networking, Compute, Storage and KeyVaults [Other Azure Services helpful]
  • Expert level knowledge of Azure Networking and Network Security (Virtual WAN, vNets, ExpressRoute, VPN, Cisco FTDv firewall, Network Security Groups)
  • Expert level understanding of Networking and IP routing (CIDR, subnetting, VLSM, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS)
  • Strong understanding of Azure Security (Entra ID, RBAC, Policies)
  • Experience with Azure Portal, ARM, Powershell and CLI
  • Experience in implementing Azure landing zones. Led cross-functional teams to define landing zone blueprints, including networking, identity, governance, and resource organization, aligning with industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in conducting architecture reviews and provide recommendations to optimize Azure landing zones for cost, performance, and security.
  • Experience in Azure Site Recovery (ASR) for disaster recovery solutions, ensuring high availability and business continuity during the migration process.
  • Migration to Microsoft Azure cloud platform, utilizing Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure SQL Database (optional)
