We are seeking an experienced Application & Solution Architect to provide technical leadership for large-scale cloud-native applications running on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will lead feature-level solution design, architecture reviews, engineering governance, and platform modernization initiatives while working closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and data teams.
Responsibilities: -
- Serve as the Solution Architect, providing technical leadership across application architecture, feature design, integration architecture, and cloud-native solution delivery.
- Define scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable solution architectures supporting evolving business and technology needs.
- Translate business requirements, epics, features, and user stories into implementation-ready technical designs and solution architectures.
- Develop architecture blueprints, component interaction diagrams, integration patterns, API specifications, and implementation guidance for engineering teams.
- Lead feature-level solution design and architecture review sessions for new functionality, enhancements, and modernization initiatives.
- Define application architecture patterns, component structures, service boundaries, API contracts, integration patterns, and data flows supporting .NET and Angular applications.
- Provide guidance on microservices, API-led, event-driven, and asynchronous integration patterns supporting scalable and loosely coupled architectures.
- Evaluate architecture alternatives and technical trade-offs, recommending approaches that optimize business value, technical quality, delivery timelines, and long-term supportability.
- Establish architecture standards, design principles, and governance processes that promote consistency, reusability, maintainability, and engineering excellence.
- Ensure all solutions satisfy functional and non-functional requirements related to performance, scalability, security, availability, observability, and operational supportability. Azure Solution Architecture.
- Design and govern cloud-native application architectures leveraging Microsoft Azure services.
- Define architectural standards for Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault, and related platform services.
- Ensure solutions align with Azure Well-Architected Framework principles for reliability, security, performance efficiency, operational excellence, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Recommend deployment patterns and Azure services that support application scalability, resiliency, observability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to ensure application architectures align with deployment, monitoring, security, and operational standards.
- Provide guidance related to cloud optimization, performance tuning, resilience patterns, high availability, and operational supportability. Data Model Collaboration & Impact Assessment
- Collaborate closely with Data Architecture and Data Engineering teams to assess impacts of data model changes.
- Evaluate impacts of changes to business entities, relationships, business rules, and data structures on applications, APIs, integrations, workflows, and reporting capabilities.
- Assess impacts of data model changes on business workflows, operational processes, integration points, and downstream systems.
- Ensure application and integration architectures remain aligned with evolving data models and business requirements.
- Support feature design and application architecture activities involving data model changes without assuming ownership of enterprise data architecture. Engineering Leadership & Delivery Support .
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineering Leads, QA teams, and Data Architects to deliver business capabilities aligned with release objectives.
- Partner with engineering teams throughout the SDLC to clarify architectural intent and resolve technical design challenges.
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, implementation reviews, and release planning activities.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
- Establish reusable architecture assets, standards, reference designs, and implementation frameworks to improve engineering productivity and consistency. Architecture Governance & Operational Readiness
- Participate in architecture governance forums and design review processes.
- Identify technical debt, performance bottlenecks, scalability limitations, and operational risks and recommend remediation strategies.
- Support production readiness reviews, deployment planning, release governance, and post-implementation assessments.
- Develop architecture runbooks, solution diagrams, support documentation, and operational reading.
Educational Qualifications: -
- Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
