Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
Your focus will be on advising AWS teams on privacy compliance and strategy across our global operations. You might spend your morning reviewing a new product feature to identify privacy considerations and recommend safeguards, then shift to drafting guidance on how we"ll comply with emerging privacy regulations in multiple jurisdictions. You"ll partner with product teams to develop features and services, consult with legal colleagues on legal strategy, and guide business leaders on privacy strategy. Your work spans from tactical compliance questions to longer-term strategic initiatives that shape how we build privacy into our services from the ground up.
About the team

Our team works across the entire organization-from product development to customer-facing operations-to ensure privacy is woven into everything we do. We serve customers around the world who depend on AWS to handle their data securely and in compliance with applicable laws. Over the coming years, we"re focused on staying ahead of the rapidly evolving global privacy landscape while enabling our business to grow and serve our customers. You"ll be instrumental in helping us achieve that balance, working alongside colleagues who are committed to both legal excellence and business impact.
