Overview
Our client, supporting a sensitive federal cloud program, needs a full stack developer to design and ship secure applications on AWS. You will own features end to end, from the browser layer down to cloud-native APIs and services, working next to a senior engineering team that holds a high bar for quality.
What You Will Do
  • Stand up serverless and container-based workloads on AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, or EKS.
  • Wire in authentication and authorization using industry-standard identity protocols.
  • Write front-end applications in TypeScript and React.
  • Create back-end APIs and services in Node.js, Python, or Java.
What You Bring
  • At least 5 years building full stack applications, with 2 or more of those years on AWS.
  • Production experience shipping apps on AWS managed services.
  • Practical TypeScript and React work plus server-side API development.
  • Comfort doing strong work inside tightly controlled, security-focused environments.
Nice to Have
  • Integration work with OIDC, SAML, or Keycloak.
  • Prior deployments of cloud-native applications into restricted or isolated networks.
  • AWS Professional or Specialty certification. Security+ or CISSP is a plus if it fits your background.
Additional Requirements
  • Current, active TS/SCI. You must also qualify for SCI indoctrination and any program-level access approvals the customer requires.
  • U.S. citizenship is required under the terms of the government contract.
  • You must live within a reasonable daily commute of the secure site in Herndon, VA or Washington, DC.
  • Full-time and fully on-site in an accredited secure facility, with occasional visits to approved customer sites. Remote work is not an option.
