Integrations (AWS) Operate Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Integrations (AWS) Operate Lead to provide onsite, US-hours L1/L2 production support for an AWS-based integration layer connecting WME/Salesforce with external vendor systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience supporting both real-time API integrations and scheduled batch/file-based integrations in a production environment. This role requires strong AWS troubleshooting skills, incident management experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendor technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L1/L2 production support for AWS-based API and batch/file integrations.

  • Monitor integration workflows and production jobs using AWS CloudWatch and Step Functions.

  • Monitor the health and status of real-time API and scheduled batch integrations.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs, escalating systemic or complex issues as required.

  • Analyze CloudWatch Logs Insights to identify root causes of integration failures.

  • Troubleshoot REST API issues including:

    • Authentication failures

    • Request/response validation errors

    • Timeout issues

    • API connectivity and integration failures

  • Troubleshoot batch and file-based integration issues, including:

    • Missed processing windows

    • SFTP failures

    • PGP encryption/decryption issues

    • Data quality (DQ) rejects

    • File delivery and processing failures

  • Coordinate reprocessing, reruns, and backfills for failed integrations.

  • Act as the primary onsite, US-hours contact for integration-related production issues.

  • Coordinate in real time with J&J stakeholders and external vendor technical teams to investigate and resolve cross-system integration issues.

  • Fulfill integration service requests, including new integration setups, configuration changes, and mapping updates.

  • Maintain and update integration runbooks, support documentation, and the integration catalog.

  • Participate in incident reviews, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Identify recurring integration issues and recommend improvements to monitoring, support processes, and operational stability.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS integration services, including:

    • Amazon S3

    • AWS Lambda

    • Amazon API Gateway

    • AWS Step Functions

    • Amazon CloudWatch

  • Strong experience with CloudWatch Logs Insights for production troubleshooting.

  • Experience troubleshooting REST APIs and API-based integrations.

  • Experience with SFTP/file-based integrations.

  • Experience with PGP encryption/decryption and secure file transfers.

  • Strong understanding of batch processing, scheduling, reprocessing, and backfill activities.

  • Experience supporting production integrations in an L1/L2 operations or managed services environment.

  • Strong incident management and SLA-driven production support experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting integrations within Salesforce/WME or similar enterprise platforms.

  • Experience working in AID or EAAS environments.

  • Experience in a C or SC-level role is preferred.

  • Experience in PDM is preferred.

  • Experience working with external vendors and enterprise stakeholders.

  • Strong knowledge of ITIL/production support processes.

  • Experience with incident, problem, and change management.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
