Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to work on a Python-based, AWS-native data ingestion platform. This platform leverages CDK infrastructure, Glue/Spark consumers, and Lambda/ECS/Flink pipelines to move financial data from source systems into a third-party application. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and AWS technologies, along with a solid understanding of data protection standards and security compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain pipeline stages across ingestion, validation, tokenization, reformatting, and publishing.
• Develop and execute rigorous unit and end-to-end testing for pipeline components.
• Support end-to-end/system test phases to ensure platform reliability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with data-protection standards, including sensitive data handling (HSHD).
• Remediate security findings and vulnerabilities across the codebase and dependencies.

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Extensive experience with AWS services, including Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, and CDK.
• Solid understanding of Git and CI/CD best practices.
• Experience with data ingestion platforms and financial data processing is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Pay Range: $70 - $75

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
