We are looking for dedicated Semi-Local Class A CDL drivers based in Lansing, Michigan! Experience the consistency and efficiency of delivering freight for a dedicated customer while enjoying frequent home time and competitive pay.
Pay & Bonuses
Average Earnings: $1,615 per week ($84,000 per year)
Top 10% Earners: $90,000+ per year
$500 Show Bonus for drivers hired before 10/5/2026
$100 Weekly Allowance added to check for completing scheduled workdays on time
Regional Runs (75% of loads): $0.63 CPM (increases up to $0.66 CPM with tenure) + $20 per stop
Local Runs (25% of loads): $0.725 CPM (increases up to $0.745 CPM with tenure) + $30 per stop
Backhaul Pay: $30 per load
Detention & Breakdown Pay: $25 per hour
Holiday Pay: $200 per day
Training Pay: $200 per day (new hire) / $20 per hour (safety training) / $50 per day (trainer pay)
Schedule & Home Time
Location: Lansing, MI
Work Week: Tuesday – Saturday (Sunday & Monday OFF)
Start Time: Evening dispatch at 6:00 PM (18:00)
Home Time / Overnight: Out on average 2–3 nights per week
Holidays & PTO: 7 PTO days in 1st year (increases to 10 PTO days after 1 year). Drivers are expected to work holidays if they fall on a regularly scheduled workday.
Routes & Freight
Dedicated Meijer account operating out of Lansing, MI
Deliveries to 40 Meijer stores across IL (no downtown Chicago), Northern IN, MI (including Upper Peninsula), OH, and WI
Main activity: Chicago suburb runs (no city of Chicago) and shuttles between distribution facilities in Lansing, MI & Pleasant Prairie, WI
100% No-Touch Freight (outbound shipments and backhauls are 85-90% drop and hook)
Equipment
Assigned trucks (slip-seating only required during mandatory services)
Trucks stay at the account in Lansing, MI during home time
Endorsement Requirement
Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire (account will reimburse total cost)
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL
No SAP Drivers
Clean driving record
DOT Medical card
