Position Summary

The Associate Vice President of Benefits - Open Enrollment directs the organization's Open Enrollment function and establishes benefits related programs and policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead projects and overall client relationships, demonstrating leadership skills in both areas
• Lead client work by taking ownership of client deliverables
• Manage project plans and open issues, lead client meetings, and assess risks.
• Manage projects and teams, identify and secure resources as appropriate.
• Ensure their own work and the work of junior colleagues is complete and thorough.
• Identify opportunities to expand current client relationships.
• Possess deep subject matter expertise in heath and benefits to be a resource for both clients and the internal benefits team
• Demonstrate advanced health and benefits technical and consultative expertise.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience leading others and project/task management
• Understand project scope, timelines, and milestones
• Strong organizational, analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to de-escalate roadblocks using effective communication and best practices
• Experience working with HRIS platforms and able to quickly learn new software systems
• High attention to detail
• Ability to listen, understand, read, and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in a professional environment

Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree or Above
• 10+ years of group benefit experience in the PEO industry preferred
