NFP's Private Equity Group is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) Project Manager to support and enhance our growingdue diligence practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions, serveasa trusted advisor to private equity investors, and influence how riskandinsurance considerations are evaluated throughout the deal process. The AVP will beresponsibleformanagingcomplex diligence engagements, delivering high-quality client advisory services, and contributing to the continued evolution of NFP's due diligence capabilities. Thispositionisideal for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys solving complextransactional challenges, leading internal client teams, working directly with clients, and providing expert risk guidance in a fast-paced environment.
Lead complexriskandinsuranceduediligenceengagements for private equity transactions across a broadrangeofindustries.
Serveasakey client contact throughout the transaction lifecycle, providing consultativeguidance and strategic recommendations.
Contribute to enhancements to due diligence methodologies, reporting standards, and workflow efficiency to improve client outcomes and consistency of deliverables.
Evaluate insurance programs, claims history, collateral arrangements, captive structures, and insurance-relatedfinancial exposures.
Identify transaction-related risks and collaborate with internal and external advisors to developeffective solutions.
Partner with brokers, coverage specialists, producers, client service teams, and M&A professionals to assess findings and craft risk management strategies.
Deliver accurate,comprehensive, and actionabledue diligence reports and executive-level presentations.
Occasional travel as required
Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business, Insurance, or a related field.
7+yearsofexperience in the insurance industry, with significant experience supporting private equity, M&A, transactional risk, or duediligenceengagements.
Expertise in Property & Casualty insurance and specialty lines, including Cyber, Professional Liability, Financial Lines, Environmental, and Captive programs.
Understanding of financialstatements, accounting concepts, insurance-relatedfinancialanalysis,and transaction structures.
Strong ability to managemultiplecomplex engagements and deliver high-quality work within tightdeadlines.
Client-facing presence and ability to build credibility with seniorstakeholders.
Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Advancedproficiencyin Excel, financialanalysis,and report preparation.
