Title: AVP Loan Operations & Treasury Administrator

Base Salary: $75k - $90k + Bonus

ABOUT THE ROLE

This AVP-level opportunity sits within the Loan Operations department of a well-established financial institution, offering broad administrative and operational ownership across loan processing, treasury operations, escrow administration, regulatory compliance, and staff supervision. The role serves as a key operational leader supporting the Department Manager, supervising daily workflow, training staff, and coordinating with Head Office on core system enhancements making it an ideal fit for a detail-oriented banking operations professional with 5 7 years of loan and treasury operations experience who thrives in a structured, compliance-driven environment. Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the Department Manager with daily operational functions and departmental administration;supervise Loan Operations staff and workflow in the Manager's absence
  • Train new employees and cross-train backup team members to ensure operational continuity and team development
  • Perform escrow analysis and administration including coordination with third-party vendors for timely disbursement of property taxes and insurance premiums;reconcile escrow accounts, resolve exceptions, and maintain compliance with applicable policies and regulations
  • Prepare and reconcile month-end reporting including mortgage and agency reporting requirements
  • Process loan transactions including new loan disbursements, lines of credit advances, construction loan advances, and loan payments
  • Maintain loan records and files including interest rate changes, loan extensions, address updates, ORE accounts, non-accrual loans, and charge-offs
  • Process Treasury Operations transactions including trade and money market disbursements, repayments, interest rate maintenance, and brokered CD setup, maintenance, and fund transfers upon maturity
  • Respond to inquiries regarding syndicated loans from business teams and agent banks
  • Review incoming correspondence and loan applications for completeness and accuracy
  • Collaborate with Head Office on core system upgrades, enhancements, and testing
  • Monitor daily Loan Operations activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, efficiency, and regulatory compliance
  • Support the Department Manager with additional projects, assignments, and departmental initiatives as needed
  • Proactively identify, measure, monitor, and report risk exposures to senior management as part of first-line risk ownership responsibilities
