ABOUT THE ROLE

This AVP (or VP-level;commensurate experience) opportunity sits within the Fixed Income team of a well-established global institutional investment manager, focused on fundamental credit analysis and investment recommendations across investment-grade and high-yield corporate bonds. The role offers direct portfolio impact generating original research, building financial models, and presenting actionable investment ideas to portfolio managers. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct fundamental credit analysis with emphasis on financial modeling to identify profitable corporate bond investment opportunities across investment-grade and high-yield markets
• Create in-depth earnings reports including financial projections, credit valuation, and investment recommendations based on expected company and sector performance
• Present detailed, persuasive company and sector reports to portfolio managers reviewing potential investment ideas;consult with senior management on proposed investment strategies
• Liaise with industry sources to capture and develop new investment ideas;proactively collect, interpret, and synthesize market information
• Foster the development of global investment views in close coordination with teams in Tokyo;provide thorough and timely research to support the broader international investment platform
• Perform relative value analysis and asset valuation to support portfolio positioning and benchmark outperformance objectives
• Support miscellaneous duties and team initiatives as assigned
