Title: AVP Fixed Income Credit Analyst, Investment Grade & High Yield

Base Salary: $140k $160k + Bonus




Overview:

This AVP (or VP-level;commensurate experience) opportunity sits within the Fixed Income team of a well-established global institutional investment manager, focused on fundamental credit analysis and investment recommendations across investment-grade and high-yield corporate bonds. The role offers direct portfolio impact generating original research, building financial models, and presenting actionable investment ideas to portfolio managers. It's an ideal fit for a credit-focused fixed income professional coming from either the buy side or sell side who combines strong modeling and valuation skills with the ability to communicate investment ideas persuasively to senior decision-makers.




Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct fundamental credit analysis with emphasis on financial modeling to identify profitable corporate bond investment opportunities across investment-grade and high-yield markets
  • Create in-depth earnings reports including financial projections, credit valuation, and investment recommendations based on expected company and sector performance
  • Present detailed, persuasive company and sector reports to portfolio managers reviewing potential investment ideas;consult with senior management on proposed investment strategies
  • Liaise with industry sources to capture and develop new investment ideas;proactively collect, interpret, and synthesize market information
  • Foster the development of global investment views in close coordination with teams in Tokyo;provide thorough and timely research to support the broader international investment platform
  • Perform relative value analysis and asset valuation to support portfolio positioning and benchmark outperformance objectives
  • Support miscellaneous duties and team initiatives as assigned
