ABOUT THE ROLE
This AVP-level opportunity sits within the Commercial Real Estate lending team of a well-established financial institution, supporting Relationship Managers across client development, credit analysis, KYC due diligence, and ongoing portfolio monitoring for a designated book of CRE corporate clients. The role offers meaningful exposure to the full CRE credit lifecycle from initial due diligence and credit investigation through annual reviews and financial health monitoring making it an ideal fit for a detail-oriented credit professional with 3 5 years of syndicated banking experience who thrives in a structured, client-facing environment and is ready to take on meaningful portfolio responsibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Relationship Managers in business development and client management activities including support on origination efforts, client outreach, and relationship maintenance across the CRE portfolio
Conduct comprehensive due diligence, KYC reviews, and credit investigations on new and existing corporate clients in the Commercial Real Estate sector in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Manage a designated book of existing CRE clients, overseeing annual and interim credit reviews and monitoring the ongoing financial health of borrowers to proactively identify risks and opportunities
Prepare and review credit analysis reports, financial spreads, and supporting documentation to assist Relationship Managers in structuring and presenting credit proposals
Monitor portfolio performance on an ongoing basis;identify and escalate emerging credit concerns or compliance issues to senior team members in a timely manner
Ensure full compliance with internal code of conduct, corporate compliance policies, and regulatory reporting requirements across all client-facing and internal activities
Support the Head of CRE with ad-hoc tasks, reporting, and other team initiatives as needed
