Avionics Supply Chain Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Supplier Development Engineer / Technical Program Manager to support the development and production of avionics hardware for a leading aerospace program. This role serves as the technical liaison between engineering teams and external manufacturing partners, helping drive supplier performance, product development, testing, and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead avionics product development efforts from New Product Introduction (NPI) through production.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and supplier teams to deliver complex electronic hardware.
• Manage supplier performance, technical risks, manufacturing readiness, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate product qualification, acceptance, and functional testing activities.
• Drive project schedules, scope changes, product documentation, and supplier deliverables.
• Support procurement, hardware planning, and production operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in electronic hardware development, manufacturing, NPI, supplier management, or technical program management.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams and external manufacturers.
• Strong project management, scheduling, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace, space, or defense industry experience.
• Experience with PCB and electronics hardware development.
• Knowledge of IPC standards and electronics manufacturing processes.
• Experience with tools such as Primavera P6, DOORS/DNG, Altium, OrCAD, Creo, and Windchill.
