About the Role Bridger Aerospace is currently seeking an experienced full-time Mid to Senior Level Avionics and Electrical Engineering Technician for FMS in Huntsville Alabama. This position is a mid-level position in which the successful candidate will be responsible for designing troubleshooting and enhancing aircraft modifications for commercial and military organizations. This position requires someone interested and well-versed in avionics and electrical systems for various aircraft.

Job Responsibilities

• Will work with a team of Electrical and Design Engineers and PMs to troubleshoot design and implement electrical systems supporting various military and commercial customers.
• Provide offsite & onsite assistance and installation of electrical systems.
• Mentor junior level electrical engineers within the company.
• Occasionally travel to hangars bases customer sites to facilitate successful system integration of mechanical and electrical and provide assistance as needed to Project Managers at onsite locations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years experience in avionics and electrical wiring systems.
• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• Ability to effectively manage time over several programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work proficiently with remotely located employees as well as in a team environment.
• Flexibility to travel CONUS & OCONUS no more than 20% of the time.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in English written and spoken.
• Must be U.S. citizen.
• Must currently possess or be able to receive Department of Defense Secret clearance.

Desired Skills/Experience

• Active DoD security clearance minimum of Secret level.
• Interest in aviation airframe modifications is recommended.
• IPC certification is preferred.
• A&P certification or relevant certifications are a plus.
• DoD or Military background is a plus.
