    Position Summary

    We are seeking a motivated Aviation Civil Engineer with strong design and task management skills to support landside civil engineering projects for aviation infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact transportation and airport-related projects with increasing leadership responsibilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead or support design and project management of civil engineering tasks related to airport infrastructure.

    • Prepare construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and reports.

    • Coordinate project meetings with internal teams, clients, and subconsultants.

    • Perform technical analyses and design computations.

    • Develop and maintain contract documents, including plans, specifications, and estimates.

    • Ensure compliance with organizational quality control standards.

    • Interpret and apply survey data, maps, aerial imagery, and engineering drawings.

    • Manage and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.

    • Professional Engineer (PE) License or equivalent certification.

    • 48 years of hands-on civil design experience.

    • Demonstrated experience in task management on civil/aviation projects.

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Open Roads Designer/MicroStation.

    • Strong skills in construction cost estimating and technical specification writing.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in a supervisory role on project tasks.

    • Background in road/highway design.

    • In-depth knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars, Engineering Briefs, and Orders.

    • Familiarity with DoD Unified Facilities Criteria.

    • Experience with project scheduling and budget management.
