Title: AVEVA MES Developer
Locations: Kilbourn, IL
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $60- $70/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
We are seeking an experienced Senior AVEVA MES Developer / Digital Manufacturing Engineer with strong expertise in AVEVA Wonderware MES solutions, manufacturing execution systems, industrial automation, and software development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing, configuring, developing, and supporting AVEVA MES modules across the full project lifecycle.
The candidate will work on digital manufacturing initiatives, MES platform implementations, integrations with automation systems, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, and support AVEVA/Wonderware MES solutions.
- Participate in full lifecycle MES implementation projects including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Configure and develop solutions using AVEVA MES core modules, including:
- Performance
- Operations
- Quality
- Support MES environment setup, configuration, and platform readiness activities.
- Translate manufacturing business requirements into MES functional solutions.
- Integrate MES systems with industrial automation environments including PLC, SCADA, OPC, and control systems.
- Work with AVEVA System Platform, Historian, Object Integration Server, and related technologies.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, database objects, and reporting solutions.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, enhancements, and system improvements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, automation, and IT teams.
Required Technical Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Digital Manufacturing / Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Hands-on experience with:
- AVEVA MES
- Wonderware MES
- AVEVA MES modules:

- Experience developing at least one complete MES lifecycle implementation project.
- Strong knowledge of:
- AVEVA System Platform
- AVEVA/Wonderware Historian
- Object Integration Server
- AVEVA Work Tasks (Skelta BPM)
- AVEVA MDM
- Understanding of manufacturing standards:
- ISA-95
- ISA-88
- MESA standards
- Knowledge of industrial automation technologies:
- OPC
- PLCs
- SCADA
- Manufacturing system integrations
- Experience with:
- SQL scripting
- Client SQL Server
- Database design
- Query optimization
- View design
- Strong development experience with:
- C#
- .NET Framework / .NET development environment
Preferred Skills:
- Industrial automation and manufacturing networking experience.
