Provide AV/VTC support to include, but not limited to, onsite support, ad-hoc services, video services, video streaming, production, travel, and training as needed. Other ad-hoc services may include, but not limited to, remote support and/or evaluation of field office AV/VTC requirements. Support AV/VTC events, including but not limited to, meetings, conferences that require AV/VTC hardware support, public address system with multiple microphone/line level sources, public display for live/recorded/VTC video, computer display, and open/close caption. Support video editing and post-production, video switching, camera operations, graphic design, animation, motion graphics development, audio mixing, digital signal processing (DSP), control systems, projection systems, and LED display technologies to support organizational communications and events. Provide operational support for video teleconferencing and collaboration platforms, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Poly RealPresence. Additionally, able to support Video Webinars and Break-Out Rooms. Responsibilities include scheduling and managing virtual meetings, coordinating connections between multiple locations, monitoring audio and video performance, and resolving connectivity, interoperability, and user support issues to ensure reliable communication services. Utilize a single point of contact for receiving AV/VTC service calls, documenting trouble tickets and resolving AV/VTC problems at any HQ or field office site. Resolve trouble tickets related to AV/VTC.
This position requires full-time on-site support.
Travel may be required to support customer needs.
Requirements & Qualifications:
·Requires a high school diploma/GED. Formal relevant technical training and/or further relevant education (AA or BS) are a plus and may be substituted for some experience requirements.
oSenior Technician: Advanced level AV/VTC skills with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience supporting a similar environment.
oIntermediate Technician: Mid level AV/VTC skills with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience supporting a similar environment.
·Ability to effectively communicate verbally and electronically.
·Demonstrated experience supporting an environment and the associated technologies described above.
·ITSM ticketing system experience required, Zendesk experience is preferred.
·Must have a positive and patient customer service attitude.
·Must be able to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
·Must obtain an agency public trust suitability determination prior to start date.
·Experience supporting a mid-sized Federal agency enterprise is a plus.
·No specific certifications are required, but relevant industry certifications are a plus.
