Job Title: Audio Visual (AV) Technician
Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Audio Visual (AV) Technician to support the setup, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, and providing on-site support in a fast-paced environment. Travel to client sites is required.
Responsibilities
Install, set up, operate, and break down AV equipment including sound systems, microphones, projectors, displays, and video conferencing tools
Travel to client locations, job sites, or event venues to provide on-site AV support
Troubleshoot and resolve audio, video, and connectivity issues
Perform routine testing and maintenance of AV equipment
Provide technical support during meetings, presentations, and events
Ensure equipment is properly configured and functioning prior to use
Maintain inventory of AV equipment, cables, and accessories
Communicate with team members and clients to ensure technical requirements are met
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures during installations and travel
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience as an AV Technician or in a related technical role preferred
Knowledge of audio, video, and basic networking systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift and transport AV equipment
Willingness and ability to travel to multiple locations as needed
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
