    Summary of Position:
    We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Desktop Technician to provide on-site and remote technical support to our employees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for resolving a wide range of hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. This role requires excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

    Job Duties:
    • Maintain and update an accurate inventory of desktop equipment, ensuring proper asset management and adherence to company policies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute the setup and maintenance of audio-visual systems, including conference rooms, presentation equipment, and video conferencing solutions.
    • Develop and implement best practices for AV system configuration, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal audio and visual quality.
    • Conduct regular assessments of AV equipment, identifying opportunities for upgrades or replacements to meet evolving technological requirements.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving expertise.
    • Collaborate with vendors and external service providers to coordinate maintenance and repairs of AV equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
    • Travel to different locations as required to provide on-site support, perform installations, and oversee AV system setups and upgrades.

    Qualifications and Requirements:
    • A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a
    State's Department of Education
    • Four years of satisfactory, full-time experience in computer maintenance and repair,
    one year of which must have been in the supervision of staff performing computer maintenance and repair.
    • Strong understanding of audio-visual systems, equipment, and technologies, including projectors, displays, video conferencing, and sound systems.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting desktop and AV-related issues, including hardware, software, and network connectivity.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with end-users, stakeholders, and vendors.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Willingness to travel to different agency locations as required.
    • Motor Vehicle Driver License valid in the State of New York. Employees must maintain the license for the duration of their employment.
