About the Opportunity

We are seeking an AV & Conference Services Engineer who understands that exceptional meetings don't happen by accident. From executive leadership meetings and board presentations to client discussions and company-wide events, you'll be responsible for ensuring the technology experience is seamless and reliable.

Based on-site in our Zionsville, Indiana office, you'll own the conference room and AV experience across our Microsoft Teams and Zoom environments. This is a hands-on role that partners closely with the Senior AV Architect, executing established standards while providing valuable operational insight that helps shape future AV strategy and investments.

You'll be the person ensuring rooms are ready before critical meetings begin, providing confidence to business leaders, and delivering a consistent experience across every collaboration space on campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day AV and conference room experience across the Zionsville campus, supporting everything from small huddle spaces to executive boardrooms and large meeting venues. Deploy, maintain, and continuously improve collaboration environments while ensuring alignment with enterprise AV standards and technology roadmaps.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms across a diverse hardware ecosystem, including Poly, Yealink, Logitech, and Crestron technologies. Manage conferencing codecs, touch panels, cameras, microphones, displays, speakers, scheduling panels, and the underlying network and identity components that support room functionality.
  • Partner closely with Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Workplace Technology, Facilities, and Real Estate teams to support room deployments, office renovations, refresh initiatives, and infrastructure improvements. Provide operational feedback and field observations that help inform standards, lifecycle planning, and future capital investments.
  • Deliver white-glove support for executive meetings, board sessions, town halls, and client-facing events. Conduct pre-event testing, provide on-site event support, manage in-room production needs, and proactively resolve issues before they impact participants.
  • Develop documentation, operational runbooks, and self-service resources that enable end users to effectively utilize collaboration technologies while reducing support overhead for routine meetings.
  • Monitor platform health using Teams Rooms Pro Management and Zoom Device Management tools. Manage firmware upgrades, troubleshoot recurring issues, identify root causes, and drive improvements that enhance reliability and user satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience supporting and engineering enterprise AV and conferencing environments.
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms platforms.
  • Experience supporting Poly, Yealink, Logitech, Crestron, and similar AV technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with AV control systems such as Crestron and/or Extron.
  • Familiarity with DSP technologies including Biamp, QSC, and Shure.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to support both technical and executive audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with facilities, security, networking, and workplace technology teams.
  • Understanding of networking concepts including QoS, VLANs, media traffic optimization, and firewall dependencies.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 room account management, licensing, identity services, and Teams administration.
  • PowerShell and basic automation scripting experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to remain calm and effective during high-visibility events and critical support situations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting live event production, including audio mixing, multi-camera environments, streaming platforms, lighting, or broadcast technologies.
  • Experience with Teams Town Halls, Teams Live Events, Zoom Events, Zoom Webinars, or similar large-scale collaboration platforms.
  • AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification.
  • Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate or Teams Voice Engineer certifications.
  • Zoom Rooms, Zoom Phone, or Zoom Certified Professional credentials.
  • Experience supporting financial services, insurance, Life & Annuity, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with digital signage platforms, room scheduling systems, and workplace experience technologies.
  • Prior executive support or hospitality-focused experience delivering high-touch service.

Why This Position Matters

Our Zionsville campus serves as a hub for leadership discussions, client engagements, and important business decisions. The quality of the AV and collaboration experience directly impacts how those moments are experienced by employees, clients, and business partners.

We're investing in this role because we believe meeting technology should be dependable, intuitive, and virtually invisible when it's working well. We are looking for an engineer who takes pride in delivering that experience, someone who views conference rooms as products, collaboration as a service, and reliability as a personal responsibility.
