    As the Systems Engineering IPT Lead for the Resolute Sentry Program, you will provide technical leadership across the system lifecycle, ensuring engineering rigor, requirements traceability, architecture consistency, and effective stakeholder collaboration. You will lead model-based systems engineering activities, coordinate engineering efforts across IPTs, and support the successful delivery of mission-critical capabilities. This position provides an opportunity to influence system design, technical strategy, and program execution while supporting high-visibility Department of Defense initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the Systems Engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT) supporting the Resolute Sentry Program.
    • Direct and coordinate systems engineering activities across requirements, architecture, design, integration, verification, validation, and transition.
    • Develop and maintain Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts using SysML and related digital engineering tools and methodologies.
    • Manage system requirements development, allocation, traceability, and change control processes.
    • Facilitate technical reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and system verification activities.
    • Collaborate with government stakeholders, program management, software engineering, cybersecurity, test, and operational teams.
    • Ensure engineering products comply with customer requirements, digital engineering standards, and applicable DoD guidance.
    • Support risk management, technical planning, and engineering decision-making activities.
    • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while fostering a collaborative engineering culture.
    • Provide status, metrics, and technical recommendations to program leadership and customer organizations.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
    • Minimum 10 years of Systems Engineering experience supporting complex defense, aerospace, intelligence, or national security programs.
    • Clearance Requirement: TS with SCI eligibility. Ability to maintain required security clearance.
    • Demonstrated experience serving in a technical lead, IPT lead, chief engineer, or equivalent engineering leadership role.
    • Advanced knowledge of Systems Engineering processes throughout the system lifecycle.
    • Demonstrated expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
    • Practical experience developing and maintaining SysML models and digital engineering artifacts.
    • Experience with architecture frameworks, requirements management, interface management, and system integration activities.
    • Experience supporting technical reviews, risk management, and verification and validation planning.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Work Environment:

    • Location: On-Site, Beavercreek, Ohio
    • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
    • Working Hours: Standard

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience supporting Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) programs, organizations, or initiatives.
    • Experience developing, integrating, testing, or evaluating autonomous and autonomous-enabled systems.
    • Knowledge of Digital Engineering strategies and DoD Digital Engineering initiatives.
    • Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, or similar MBSE tools.
    • Familiarity with DoDAF, UAF, and related architecture frameworks.
    • Experience supporting operationally relevant prototyping and technology transition efforts.
    • Master's degree in a related technical discipline.
    • INCOSE ASEP, CSEP, ESEP, or similar professional certification.
