The National Automotive Training Academy (NATA) is conducting the recruiting process for an outstanding opportunity with Pohanka Toyota & Mercedes-Benz.

We are seeking an experienced Warranty Administrator / Warranty Clerk who understands dealership operations and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and outstanding customer service.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring warranty claims are processed correctly, submitted on time, and paid promptly while maintaining compliance with manufacturer policies and dealership procedures.

$50,000 $80,000+ annually

Approximately $24.00 $38.00 per hour

Based on experience, manufacturer certifications, and overall qualifications.

• Process manufacturer warranty claims accurately and promptly

• Review repair orders for completeness and warranty eligibility

• Verify labor operations, parts, coding, and documentation

• Submit warranty claims through manufacturer systems

• Monitor claim status and resolve rejected or delayed claims

• Maintain warranty schedules and receivable balances

• Communicate with service advisors, technicians, and management regarding claim requirements

• Audit repair orders for compliance with manufacturer policies

• Maintain organized warranty records and supporting documentation

• Assist during manufacturer warranty audits

• Track chargebacks and implement corrective actions

• Process warranty credits and reconciliations

• Ensure all deadlines and manufacturer submission requirements are met

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

A minimum of one (1) year of dealership experience is REQUIRED.

Applicants without dealership experience will not be considered.

Acceptable dealership experience includes:

• Automotive dealerships

• Powersports dealerships

• Motorcycle dealerships

• RV dealerships

• Commercial truck dealerships

• Marine dealerships

• Other franchised vehicle dealerships

Additional qualifications include:

• Strong computer and data entry skills

• Excellent organizational abilities

• High attention to detail

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment

• Professional communication skills

• Experience with dealership management systems is preferred

• Manufacturer warranty experience is highly preferred

• Toyota or Mercedes-Benz warranty experience is a significant advantage

• Minimum one year dealership experience

• Clean background check

• Clean driving record
