Neil Huffman Auto Group is looking for a title clerk for our Corporate office!
RESPONSIBILITIES: Process and obtain title and all documentation needed to purchase and complete sale of vehicle.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to the Office Manager
DUTIES:
- Assist in collecting and paying taxes.
- Interact with county clerks in completing transfer documents.
- Issues refund checks when appropriate.
- Transfer ownership of vehicles from buyer to seller and from seller to buyer in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain neat and professional appearance of person and work area.
- Arrive before designated starting time
- Attend licensing classes as needed.
- All other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Maintain good driving record.
- Detail oriented.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to recognize and react to time-sensitive issues.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Bookkeeping background preferred.
- Knowledge of Kentucky/Indiana title laws preferred.
