Automotive Technician / Mechanic
Hillsboro, OR • Full-time
$1,000–$2,500/week, based on experience
Experienced Automotive Technician Wanted
We're looking for an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our service team in Hillsboro, OR.
This is a hands-on position for a technician who can diagnose problems, perform repairs, and work independently. If you have real-world experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, we'd like to hear from you.
 
What You'll Do
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and computer-related vehicle problems
  • Perform repairs involving engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, and HVAC systems
  • Use diagnostic scan tools and other testing equipment to identify vehicle issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and multi-point inspections
  • Complete oil changes, tire rotations, and other preventive services
  • Test drive vehicles before and after repairs
  • Document diagnostic findings, repairs, and parts required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
 
What We're Looking For
Required:
  • Hands-on automotive repair experience
  • Ability to independently diagnose and repair common vehicle systems
  • Working knowledge of automotive diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Own basic hand and power tools
 
Preferred:
  • ASE certification
  • Experience with advanced electrical and computer diagnostics
  • Experience using scan tools, scope meters, and technical service information
Specialized shop equipment is provided.
 
Compensation
$1,000–$2,500 per week, depending on experience and qualifications.
