Description

We're seeking a skilled autmotove technician who enjoys working on classic cars, hot rods, rat rods, customs, and performance vehicles.  This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced mechanic, or a strong intermediate technician ready to work on unique vehicles and interesting projects.

This is not a dealership, or routine quick service position.  Although primarily classic vehicles, this individual will perform some general maintenance and repairs on late model vehicles as needed.

Light exhaust work will also need to be performed as needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain classic and performance vehicles
  • Typical performance upgrades such as cylinder heads, camshafts, intakes, fuel systems
  • Diagnose, repair, replace, or upgrade vehicles with Holley or similiar systems
  • Perform light suspension repairs and upgrades
  • Brake work and upgrades
  • Assist with general restoration and custom automotive projects
  • Maintain clean, accurate, and professional workmanship
  • Work alongside an experienced exhaust fabricator and develope advanced exhaust-building skills

Qualifications

  • Intermediate to advanced automotive mechanical skills preferred
  • Practical experience with engine repair and performance upgrades
  • Familiarity with carbureted engines and classic vehicle systems
  • Ability to daignose mechanical and electrical problems and complete repairs
  • Welding and light fab experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • DEPENDABLE, self-motivated, and comfortable working as a team or solo
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on a variety of projects
