Overview:
Group 1 Kia Tomball is looking for skilled Automotive Service Technicians to join our team!
We’re not just a service center, we are a team that values top-quality work, strong relationships, and a shared passion for the automotive industry.
KIA Certified Technicians are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
- Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Kia/Hyundai Experience Required (Dealership Preferred)
- KIA or ASE certification is a plus
- Diagnostic and Mechanical Skills
- Tool Proficiency
- Strong Desire to Provide an Exceptional Client Experience
- Ability to Achieve Targeted Goals
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License
