    Overview

    Ford of Rockwall is seeking experienced and skilled Main Line Automotive Technicians to join our growing, high-performing service team. This role is ideal for technicians who are confident in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of Ford vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and efficiency.

    As a main line technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately diagnosing issues, performing advanced repairs, and maintaining Ford's high standards of safety and performance.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
    • Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
    • Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
    • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
    • Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
    • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
    • Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
    • National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Professional appearance and work ethic
    • Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
