Overview:
Group 1 Chevrolet Spring is actively seeking experienced Automotive Technicians (Flag/Flat-Rate) to join our high-performing Chevrolet dealership!
We’re looking for skilled professionals who take pride in their work, are committed to delivering quality repairs, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. Our technicians play a critical role in the customer experience, and we value individuals who are driven, detail-oriented, and dedicated to being part of a team that supports both its customers and employees.
*Chevrolet-certified technicians are strongly encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors
Qualifications:
2 years of experience as a flat-rate (flag) Chevrolet Technician with proven production and diagnostic ability
National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance strongly preferred
Manufacturer certifications are a strong plus!
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
Excellent customer service skills
Professional appearance and work ethic
Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
