    As an Experienced Automotive Technician, you play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our customers' vehicles. You are the expert who diagnoses complex issues, performs high-quality repairs, and provides exceptional service. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of automotive systems, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results.     Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Performs advanced Automotive Diagnostics using specialized equipment to accurately identify vehicle malfunctions.
    • Executes comprehensive Engine Repair, including rebuilding, replacing components, and tuning for optimal performance.
    • Services and repairs all types of Brake Systems, including ABS, ensuring vehicle safety and compliance.
    • Conducts thorough Electrical Systems Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing wiring, sensors, and electronic control units.
    • Performs intricate Suspension & Steering Repair, replacing components like shocks, struts, and power steering systems to restore handling and ride comfort.
    • Undertakes Transmission Repair, including fluid flushes, component replacement, and complete overhauls for both automatic and manual transmissions.
    • Diagnoses and rectifies issues within HVAC System Repair, ensuring proper heating and cooling functionality.
    • Implements detailed Preventive Maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks, to extend vehicle lifespan and prevent future breakdowns.
    • Completes meticulous Vehicle Inspection to assess overall condition, identify potential problems, and recommend necessary repairs or services.
    • Communicates effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status, repair needs, and estimated completion times.
    • Maintains a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company standards.
    • Stays current with automotive technology and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.

    Required Qualifications

    Education

    • Holds a high school diploma or GED.
    • Possesses vocational school certification or an Associate's degree in Automotive Technology.

    Experience

    • Has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an automotive technician in a professional setting.
    • Demonstrates a proven track record of successfully diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models.

    Knowledge/Skills

    • Possesses expert knowledge in Automotive Diagnostics.
    • Exhibits proficiency in Engine Repair.
    • Applies comprehensive understanding of Brake Systems.
    • Masters Electrical Systems Troubleshooting.
    • Shows expertise in Suspension & Steering Repair.
    • Performs skilled Transmission Repair.
    • Understands and performs HVAC System Repair.
    • Executes thorough Preventive Maintenance.
    • Conducts detailed Vehicle Inspection.
    • Applies strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Utilizes various diagnostic tools and equipment proficiently.
    • Adheres strictly to safety procedures and regulations.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Holds current ASE certifications (e.g., Master Automobile Technician).
    • Possesses specific manufacturer training or certifications.
    • Has experience with hybrid or electric vehicle systems.

    Physical Requirements/Work Conditions

    • Lifts and moves heavy objects, often exceeding 50 pounds.
    • Stands, walks, bends, stoops, and kneels for extended periods.
    • Works in various environmental conditions, including moderate noise levels, varying temperatures, and exposure to vehicle fluids and fumes.
    • Possesses good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
