$30–$35/hr + 1% commission (of total work performed) + overtime

What “good” looks like in this shop

A car comes in with brake noise.

A parts changer sells pads.

A pro tech checks the whole system.

You’ll:

• Inspect the full brake system, not one corner
• Check related components and wear patterns
• Think ahead (mileage, usage, repeat failures)
• Find what the customer doesn’t know to ask
• Document what you found and why it matters

No guessing.

No shortcuts.

No sending it out “mostly fixed.”

Your day here

You’ll work on real problems, not just easy gravy.

You’ll be trusted to run your bay like a pro.

You’ll diagnose electrical, drivability, emissions, and A/C issues with confidence.

You’ll communicate clearly—so the front counter can sell value, not discounts.

When something goes sideways, you own it fast.

You’re a fit if you…

• Have 5+ years real repair experience
• Are strong in diagnostics (not just R&R)
• Can handle electrical, emissions, and A/C without panic
• Read codes correctly (and don’t treat them like parts orders)
• Manage your time and output without a manager hovering
• Take ownership when something goes wrong
• Want a long-term home, not a short stop

Don’t apply if you…

• “Try a part” and hope it works
• Need constant direction to stay productive
• Blame the car, the writer, the customer, or the last shop
• Are comfortable being average

What you’ll earn

$30–$35 per hour

1% commission of total work performed

Overtime pay available when needed
