Are you a certified automotive technician with dealership experience, ready to elevate your career in a high-volume, performance-driven environment? Empire Automotive Group Chevy of Hicksville is actively seeking top-tier talent to join our elite service team. We're hiring for the following roles:

• Master Service Technician
• A-Level Automotive Technician

We’re especially looking for an GMC A-Level Technician—someone with advanced diagnostic skills, deep technical expertise, and a proven track record of excellence in dealership service. 

GMC and ASE Certification Preferred – Candidates with hands-on experience servicing GMC vehicles and current ASE certifications will be prioritized. Proven diagnostic ability and familiarity with manufacturer standards are a plus.

 Your Daily Work Schedule:

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drives vehicles and tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed and provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualities we’re looking for:

• Strong understanding of the service drive.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude along with a customer service mentality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
