Introduction
We are seeking a B Level Automotive Technician to join a well-established, family-owned automotive repair shop in Ocala, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician with solid repair and diagnostic skills who is looking to continue developing toward an A-Level role. You'll work in a modern, well-equipped shop alongside an experienced team while earning competitive hourly pay, weekly bonuses, and outstanding benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general automotive repair and maintenance on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair brake, steering, and suspension systems.
- Diagnose and repair check engine light concerns.
- Perform electrical and drivability diagnostics.
- Accurately document inspections, repairs, and recommendations using Tekmetric.
- Maintain quality workmanship while meeting productivity goals.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Keep work areas clean and follow established shop procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive repair experience.
- B Level technician with moderate diagnostic abilities.
- Experience performing general mechanical repairs.
- Ability to diagnose check engine light, electrical, and drivability concerns.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
- Ethical, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
- Desire to continue learning and advance into an A-Level Technician role.
